Four-year-old daughter of former boxing champion Mike Tyson Dies

Posted by admin in May 27th 2009

The four-year-old daughter of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has died, a day after being found with a treadmill cord tied around her neck in an apparent accident at her home, Phoenix police said on Tuesday.

“Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 hrs local time (1845 GMT) on Tuesday at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family,” police spokesman Andy Hill said in a statement.

Media reports said Exodus Tyson was playing near some exercise equipment when she accidentally got tangled in a cord or rope hanging from a treadmill on Monday.

She was taken to a Phoenix hospital in critical condition.

Police said the incident appeared to be an accident.

The girl was home with her mother when the accident occurred Monday.

Tyson was not in Phoenix at the time, but was shown on television arriving at the hospital later that day.

The former world heavyweight champion has six children by several different women.

How to overcome a breakup?

Posted by admin in May 7th 2009

When you breakup with your partner it is not one of the happiest spaces to be in. So what’s so dissimilar if it happens to you also? Just like everyone who has seen this stage in life, you will also have to get up to this ugly reality and then attempt to figure out what and how you’re going to deal with being deserted.

Questions in abundance
When you’re dumped by your friend, then next thing on your mind is a record of questions. You have not at all seen this coming, so life has been very joyful and nice all this while and unexpectedly from nowhere this bomb has attacked at you. Not everyone is lucky to get an opportunity to sit down with their partner and ask them questions about why they were deserted, so you have got to deal through the questions yourself.

Don’t charge Yourself
Prevent blaming yourself for whatever has happened as there is no necessity to do so. If your spouse cared so much about you they would have relatively sat down and spoken about the troubles he sees in the relationship and come up with a method to work things out rather than merely walk out on you.

Cry as much as You Can
A good way to plain your thoughts and mind is by crying your heart out. Yell, shout and let everything away of you, it is better to do this once rather than spending the entire day mopping and being miserable.

Keep Away from Insane thoughts
Don’t let your mind be taken over by extreme ideas. Keep away from thoughts of sex, drugs as well as alcohol as it would do you no excellent, would make you feel worse instead once you understand what you’ve done to deal with being deserted.

Don’t Let Others Make You consider Low
Keep away from people who wish to keep talking abut your relationship. Your personal life is your confidential matter and not some tea table rumor.

Come across out for Ideas to Deal with Your Phase
Read a good quality book on relationships on how to deal with being dumped and you will feel recovered knowing that there are others too who have had to go through the same chapter as you.

Your first impression is the last impression

Posted by admin in May 7th 2009

To make your first impression with the outside world is very obvious. This is a sort of guide that will take you to that pathway.

Steps
1. Listen. Really listen. That way when they actually do ask you a question (even if they are one of those chatterboxes) you’ll be able to answer. Or when they tell a joke. You’ll be able to laugh. People really like it if they know your ears are wide open. However, if they go on and on about themselves, politely change the subject.
2. Stay unselfish. When talking, make sure to ask plenty of questions and prod about the other person. It makes people feel good to be noticed.
3. Compliment. Complimenting can make the stickiest conversation into a glorious pathway of light! Sweater, shoes, hair…anything! Just do it! - of course, saying something nice about a person just to get them to like you is fake, deceitful, and qualifies only as empty flattery. Make sure it’s genuine if you go for this one.
4. Make sense. Babbling makes people think, “what a bore” and “when is lunch?” Make sure to talk about things that are interesting to both of you!

Tips
1. Maintain “open” body language. By this I mean, don’t stand with your arms folded across your body tightly, but be relaxed. They will relax and find it easy to talk to you if they don’t see you being tense.
2. Always keep eye contact with the other person. It shows you’re interested in what they’re saying.
3. Ask questions about travel, interests, friends. It’s fairly certain that you’ll find something in common. Asking questions about family and friends is a surefire way to get closely acquainted without seeming too standoffish.
4. Talk about the weather! It sounds cliche, but eventually you get around to talking about some fantastic or nasty weather everyone has in common.
5. Choose very broad subjects, things everyone in the entire room can relate to. Just because you want to click with a particular person doesn’t mean you should exclude everyone else.

Warnings
Sometimes, through no-one’s fault, people just don’t “click.” If you get that feeling, it’s not a big deal to chalk that person up to experience and move on. After all, if we were all the same, wouldn’t we be boring?

Must See Movies to Boast your morale for a Successful Date

Posted by admin in May 5th 2009

Things I Learned at the Movies….

For a guy who’s out there on the dating scene, it can be hard to figure out just how to “be a man”. It’s certainly tough times, what with us double-y-chromosomed persons trying to both be sensitive and masculine at the same time. Why not ask Hollywood, that producer of dreams and desires?

Here are some films that look at the issue of being men in the modern world. While we don’t advise basing your life on a fictional character – even an ultra-cool one – they can often tell you something about yourself.

Dr. No –
or just use any one of Sean Connery’s 007 flicks. He is the epitome of the “alpha” male, but ultra-sophisticated at the same time. Watch Bond tease the sultry Honey Ryder and learn how it’s done, but remind yourself that no woman is that dumb in real life.

Say Anything – he’s brooding, a smart-aleck, and far from having his act together, but John Cusack’s Lloyd Dobler still has a sweet long jacket and cool spiky hair. Add one ghetto-blaster playing Peter Gabriel, and Ione Skye is putty in his hands.

Fight Club – it’s great fun, and more than a little frightening, watching Brad Pitt as the hyper-masculinized Tyler Durden. And while the film is at heart really a satire of his almost fascist behaviour, you can’t help but go along for the ride. “How much can you know about yourself, if you’ve never been in a fight?”

Rodger Dodger – little known indie film about a brilliant but twisted New York advertising guy who spends a night teaching his sensitive 16 year old nephew about picking up women. Here you’ll learn what works, but you’ll also see that what works is not always what you want.

Out of Sight – George Clooney as a bank robber who is pretty much a constant screw-up, and yet his suave and tender charms work their way into Jennifer Lopez’s heart. And she’s a Federal Marshal. Clooney is officially the coolest guy on Earth – you could do worse than to emulate his every move.

Swingers – this is an obvious one, but now that it’s over ten years old we can look back and see what it says about men is still valuable. Vince Vaughn’s pep-talk (something to do with bears and bunnies) is something to be memorized for every time you feel unable to make a “move”.

Blast From the Past –
don’t groan. This tale of a 50’s era guy released upon the cynical reality of 90’s Los Angeles is surprisingly good stuff. Brendan Fraser’s Adam is a dork, no question, but his genuine care for Alicia Silverstone’s Eve shows that you don’t have to be mean to get the girl.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off/Cool Hand Luke – a great double bill. Two guys, both smart, charming, funny, and principled in their own ways. One has his entire life (and Mia Sara) ahead of him, the other is trapped and maybe even doomed. It’s the way that they make the best of their situations that makes them great men.

Of course, these are just movies. They aren’t real. You can learn from them, but eventually everything is up to you. Make your own life a movie.

Action!.

American President Barrack Obama Caught Shirtless

Posted by admin in April 23rd 2009

SETTING A PRECEDENT: The cover of May issue of

A shirtless Obama appearing on the cover of the May issue of Washingtonian Magazine hitting newsstands Wednesday, is causing a bit of a sizzle in the capital city, CNN reported.

Obama graces the cover, shirtless, in an issue that focuses on “26 Reasons to Love Living Here.” The number two reason: “Our new neighbour is hot.”

The particular photo choice, taken while Obama was vacationing in Hawaii over Christmas last year, is certainly an unconventional pick to showcase the commander-in-chief, the news channel said.

But Garrett Gaffe, editor-at-large for the magazine, told CNN the picture is appropriate because, “our feeling was that this wasn’t an ordinary presidency.”

“The Obamas, through their involvement in Washington, are helping to showcase just how exciting it is to be in Washington right now” he said. “We use the word ‘hot’ tongue in cheek with the photo.”

“He is a buff president that the paparazzi enjoy taking photos of,” Gaffe was quoted as saying.

Contacted by CNN, the White House declined to comment on the magazine’s cover.
